David Benavidez Reacts To Canelo Alvarez Demanding $150-$200 Million To Fight Him

David Benavidez is reacting to Canelo Alvarez’s recent comments about a potential fight against him.

On Tuesday, Alvarez told Fight Hub that he would only fight Benavidez if he were offered $150-$200 million after Benavidez’s team claimed they offered Canelo a guaranteed $55 million for a potential fight.

“Who is he to offer me money? If he offered the amount he said, I can make that amount with anybody. That’s nothing. He brings nothing to the table for me, just 25lbs more on fight night.”

“If some promoter, not him, because he’s nothing to offer me…but I one promoter who I work to they come and say I offer to I offer to you 150 to 200 million. I fight tomorrow…that’s the only that’s the only reason I fight with him…”

Benavidez saw Canelo’s comments and fired back on social media.

“If I have nothing to offer then why are you demanding you get 150-200 million to fight someone who isn’t worth anything? Hopefully after you make that 150 million you have enough left over to buy a pair of nuts.”

Canelo has been facing backlash for his unwillingness to fight Benavidez and it seems like he’s not going to bow down to the pressure just yet.
