Are the Watt brothers going to team up in Pittsburgh?
On Friday the Houston Texans announced they were going to release longtime defensive lineman JJ Watt instead of trading him in a move that would save them $17 million in cap space.
Watt went on to release a video statement on Twitter where he said he had asked to be released by the team before thanking fans for their support.
Watt’s brother, TJ, who plays for the Steelers is now openly recruiting JJ to Pittsburgh on social media.
It’s unclear if the Steelers would be able to make it work due to their cap situation but it would be pretty cool to see the Watt brothers in Pittsburgh.
