Things aren’t looking good for Deshaun Watson.
On Friday, Watson played his first game in nearly two years as he awaited the NFL’s decision on his suspension status.
Before the game, it was reported that Watson had tried to settle with the NFL and was willing to take an eight-game suspension and a $5 million fine.

“I’m told Deshaun Watson would accept an 8-game suspension and $5 million fine in a settlement. Of course, league wants at least 17 games, significant fine over $5 million & evaluation for treatment. So this would be a significant compromise. But it would end it.”
Apparently the NFL shut down Watson’s offer because a new report from Pro Football Network claims a full-season suspension is viewed as a “slam dunk.
A source tells PFN that a full-year suspension for #Browns QB Deshaun Watson is a “slam dunk.”
We're currently waiting to hear the decision by former New Jersey Attorney General Peter C. Harvey.
