Baseball is quickly approaching as spring training is in full swing. However, it sounds like the Los Angeles Dodgers already have some bad news.
Many were excited to see Gavin Lux take over the starting shortstop position. Now, it sounds like he won’t be a factor in the 2023 season.
According to ESPN, the Dodgers’ shortstop tore his ACL and is out for the entire baseball year.
Breaking: Gavin Lux is out for the season with a torn right ACL, manager Dave Roberts announced.

This is brutal news for Gavin Lux as he was in line to be the starting shortstop after the club failed to bring back Trea Turner.
Dodgers fans are surely at a loss regarding this injury update, as the shortstop position is questionable with the season around the corner.
I’m actually sick to my stomach

Can the Dodgers work some magic to replace Gavin Lux?
Tough break but I’m sure they’ll somehow acquire a top player at the position like they always do

It’s even worse when you put it that way.
Not good when you lose Trea Turner, Justin Turner, Bellinger etc etc

Only one word is needed to describe how Dodgers fans are feeling.
pain

Look for Los Angeles to find a replacement soon. Whether that’s from within the roster, a trade, or a free agent signing, is yet to be determined.
