Amy Cooper, the white woman who called police on a black man in Central Park after a dispute about her unleashed dog is facing the consequences of her actions.
On Memorial Day Cooper was filmed calling the police and telling them that an African-American man was threatening her life when in reality all he did was ask to put a leash on her dog.

Amy Cooper told CNN that since the video was posted, her “entire life is being destroyed right now.”
“I think I was just scared,” she said. “When you’re alone in the Ramble, you don’t know what’s happening. It’s not excusable, it’s not defensible.”
