Aaron Murray is one of the most decorated signal callers in Georgia football history. The quarterback, who started under center between 2010 and 2013, is the SEC’s all-time leading passer.
While playing for the Bulldogs, he won 36 games and competed in a pair of conference championships.
Unfortunately, it seems his legacy is unknown by the younger generation. While at SEC Media Days in Nashville, Murray was spotted on stage at what looked to be a bar in the Music City. With him were a pair of UGA fans holding microphones.
One even sported the No. 11 jersey that the passer had made so prominent in Athens.
Despite the fandom, the Georgia supporters had no idea who Murray was.

“What’s your name, boss?” the fan donning Murray’s No. 11 asks. The former UGA quarterback responded, “You’re wearing my jersey.”
Fans and media are not letting him live the viral moment down.
A number of his ESPN co-workers have been quick to roast him, most notably Peter Burns of SEC Network.

This fan wrote, “If you don’t recognize the SEC’s all-time leading passer, I’m not throwing a $5 in your comically large tip bucket. Just can’t do it.”
Tough scene for Aaron Murray, though he had some fun with the interaction. The passer
Fame goes fast.
