Aaron Rodgers continues his beef with NFL insider Diana Russini.
Before joining the Jets, Rodgers told Russini to lose his number because he disliked how she was reporting about him.
“Ask Schefter what I texted him when he somehow got my number and texted, I didn’t respond to Diana Russini, but I would say the same thing that I told Schefter, lose my number.
”Earlier this week, Russini reported that Wilson didn’t want to return to his role as Jets starting QB because he’s worried about getting injured.
Aaron Rodgers reached out to Zach Wilson in an effort to advise him to resume the starter role, but at the time, Wilson remained apprehensive due to perceived injury risk, per sources.

During an appearance on the Pat McAfee show, Rodgers ripped Russini’s report, which was filled with anonymous sources.
“When you use sources – intentional or unintentional – to try to assassinate someone’s character like that report does for Zach? I have a real hard time with that,” Rodgers said.
“You’re basically saying that this kid is quitting on the team and doesn’t want to play and is giving the middle finger to the organization.”

Rodgers went on to defend Wilson amid report’s that he doesn’t want to play again this season.
“I will tell you that I love the kid and I have spent a lot of time with him, and I think he is an amazing young man,” He has gone through a lot of s— in the last three years, and he has every right to be frustrated about it.”
