If there’s one criticism that’s commonly levied against the Marvel Cinematic Universe — other than its seemingly increasingly poor CGI, lack of compelling villains, and formulaic third-act conclusions — it’s that, despite the fact that everyone is incredibly beautiful, nobody ever sleeps with each other.
In fact, that’s what actually made the recent Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law such a breath of fresh air: she was open and honest about getting laid, but more importantly, her *desire to do so*. And that, unfortunately, is quite revelatory when it comes to the MCU.
This criticism is perhaps best exemplified in this detail from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, as Marvel fans have noticed that Namor’s — a.k.a Tenoch Huerta’s — buldge was digitally shrunk since the release of early trailers.

In addition to Huerta’s scene-stealing Namor, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever — which hit theaters in the United States on November 11 — stars Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, Winston Duke, Letitia Wright, Florence Kasumba, Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, and Martin Freeman.
The film is the final entry in the MCU’s Phase 4, which also featured the films Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Eternals, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Stange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder. Phase 4 also boasted a bevy of Disney+ series such as WanadaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Hawkeye, What If…? Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, and the aforementioned She-Hulk.
Phase 5 of the MCU, which first began back in 2008 with Iron Man, kicks off with the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in February. That movie will then be followed by the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in May and The Marvels, the sequel to 2019’s Captain Marvel, in July.
