Basketball Fans Are In Awe Of Photo Of Mega-Prospect Victor Wembanyama Dwarfing Rudy Gobert

Victor Wembanyama is all anybody in the basketball world seems to be talking about in the basketball world these days.

The incredible 7-foot-4 French teenager is considered the best NBA Draft prospect since LeBron James. And he put all those skills on display in a pair of exhibition games against fellow top prospect Scoot Henderson and NBA GLeague Ignite this week.

Wembanyama’s array of skills for someone his size are absolutely breathtaking. He’s an elite shooter.

He’s not afraid to bang in the post.

And he can handle the basketball.

But Wembanyama is also a monster on the defensive end. His size and unreal 8-foot wingspan make him the ultimate eraser on the back end of a defense.

His shot-blocking ability has even been compared to that of fellow Frenchman Rudy Gobert. Gobert is a three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year and has been named first-time All-Defense each of the last six seasons.

But even he pails in comparison to his young French counterpart.

Los Angeles Times writer Dan Woike posted a picture of Wembanyama and Gobert together after Thursday’s scrimmage and fans couldn’t believe how much taller Wembanyama looked.

The Minnesota Timberwolves list Gobert at 7-foot-1. But even he doesn’t remotely measure up to the incredible teen phenom. Basketball fans couldn’t believe the size difference.

Wembanyama is so big that it’s easy to miss the normal-sized human next to the two basketball stars.

Fans lined up to ask their teams to tank for the rising superstar.
