The Golden State Warriors are in the midst of a scrap to qualify for the NBA’s Play-In tournament, and unfortunately for them, Draymond’s Green usual antics have come to a head once again.
During Wednesday night’s crucial matchup against Orlando Magic, Green was ejected from the game within the first four minutes of the game, leading to his teammate Steph Curry getting emotional on the court.
After the game, both Curry and Warriors head coach Steve Kerr cut frustrated figures after the game while they discussed Green’s latest ejection.
“All I’ll say is we need him. He knows that. We all know that. So whatever it takes for him to be on the floor and available, that’s what’s gotta happen,” Curry told reporters after the game.

“Too bad,” Kerr said. “It was unfortunate. He deserved it. He’ll bounce back. I’m just proud of the guys for stepping up.”
Despite the early ejection of Green, the Warriors were able to rally for a 101-93 victory over the Magic thanks to a 23-point effort from Andrew Wiggins and a double-double from Curry.
Green’s teammates and coach weren’t the only ones that were critical of him after the ejection, as ESPN NBA analyst Tim Legler also ripped into Green on the Thursday morning episode of Get Up!

“Incredibly selfish. Inexcusable. And I’m tired of prefacing these moments by saying everything he’s done for the organization. I’m not going to do that anymore,” Legler said.
Green’s latest ejection brings his career total to 21, which is an average of 1.75 ejections per season.
