Simon Beck is the world’s first and most famous snow artist. After a day of skiing he was inspired to walk a star shape into the snow on the lake behind his house, the next day while riding the ski lift he was impressed by his work and then he began to make larger and more impressive geometric designs in the snow for art.
Now he has thousands of fans around the world and a book, publishing his snow art.This week, Simon flew to Minnesota ahead of tomorrow’s Super Bowl. There he was commissioned to create a new work of snow art, at none other than the Minnesota Twins’ home of Target Field.
