There are plenty of people who put a fair amount of stake into the Hot Takes that Skip Bayless pumps out on a regular basis, but Jared Goff has made it very clear he is not one of them.
On Sunday, the Detroit Lions earned the right to face off against the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game, a contest where Jared Goff and Co.
have the chance to do what no other team in the history of the franchise has been able to: play in the Super Bowl. The Lions will be facing a bit of an uphill battle in that showdown, as the 49ers are currently the odds-on favorite to win The Big Game and Detriot heads into Sunday as 7-point underdogs on the road. While I feel like most NFL fans are rooting for the guys from Motor City, there plenty of people who don’t think they stand much of a chance.
That second group would appear to include Skip Bayless, who
“Congrats, Lions. You have won the right to get blown out at San Francisco. But hey, great year.”
On Tuesday, Goff phoned into 97.1 The Ticket for an interview where he was given the opportunity to respond to that prediction when one of the hosts attempted to use it as an example of the “bulletin board material” the quarterback may possibly use as motivation.
However, Goff quickly shut down the question when he learned Bayless was the onus for it.

Here’s what he had to say:
“Nah, I don’t care about anything says. You can stop now.
Anything those guys say on daytime TV, you can skip over that.”
That’s how you handle the trolls.
