Nick Saban Was Forced To Set His Legendary Wife ‘Miss Terry’ Straight About Alabama Football

Nick Saban is approaching the remainder of Alabama football’s schedule as he does every year— one week at a time. His legendary wife, Miss Terry, apparently tried to get ahead of herself.

Coach Nick Saban was not having it!

The Crimson Tide has three games left on its schedule. They will travel to Kentucky on Saturday, host Chattanooga in Tuscaloosa next weekend and then travel to Auburn for the Iron Bowl.

There are still two weeks before the most passionate rivalry in the southern United States.

Miss Terry was already looking ahead to the final week of the season. Her husband, the greatest college football coach of all-time, wouldn’t let her!

Alabama beat LSU to move to 8-1. It all-but decided the SEC West and sent Saban back to the SEC Championship, unless his team loses another game and Ole Miss can upset Georgia.

Nick Saban is focused on going 1-0 this week.

I had to straighten her out this week with relief syndrome too. I wake up on Sunday morning, and she looks at me and says, ‘Man, it’s gonna be hard playing at Auburn.’ I said, ‘What are you talking about? Are you kidding me? We got to play Kentucky this week, and we got Chattanooga the next week.

There is a high probability that Miss Terry knew exactly what she was doing with her comment about the Iron Bowl. Coach Saban has often admitted that she may know him better than he knows himself.

It seems like Miss Terry might have planted this “rat poison” to get her husband’s head right before what is perhaps the biggest three-game stretch of his life. Everybody counted Alabama out after their loss to Texas and near-loss to USF.

And yet, here we are! The Crimson Tide is two wins away from an appearance the SEC Championship and three wins away from a one-loss season. That would likely put them in the College Football Playoff.

Miss Terry may have been playing chess, not checkers. She got her husband all riled up about her looking ahead, which forced him to get even more passionate about the game in front of him!
