6 Great Holidays Gifts For Guys Who Love To Cook At Home

Just like most of America, I’ve been cooking at home more than ever this year. Am I a great chef? Probably not. Have I perfected a handful of dishes that would blow most people away? You’re damn right, I have. I’ve always had a love for cooking but it’s been nurtured and grown more this year than probably at any other point than when I went to college.

With that said, there are ALWAYS new spices and tools I can use in the kitchen and that’s the case why any home chef.

I’ve pulled together some great holiday gifts for guys who love to cook at home ranging in price from least to most expensive. First up is the Saltverk’s Icelandic Pure Flaky Sea Salt ($8). I first picked up a set of Saltverk salts in Reykjavik a few years ago which is probably the most underrated culinary scene in the world. The top restaurants in Iceland’s capital can go toe-to-toe with the best restaurants in any city and it starts with their native ingredients (water, salt, and dairy). The Smoked Bacon Salt ($10) is a great table salt that will add some smokey flavor. This is perfect for seasoning just about anything you eat no matter the time of day.

I’ve featured Truff Black Truffle Infused Hot Sauce ($18) many times here on BroBible. This is a hot sauce with a kick, it measures 2,500 – 3,000 on the Scoville Scale. But the deep truffle flavor is something you won’t find elsewhere. The Looft Charcoal Electric Lighter & Firestarter ($99) is a pretty wild contraption. This device will get your fireplace, pizza oven, or charcoal grill fire started in under 60 seconds. Don’t be fooled by the picture, it’s a larger handheld device that was specifically engineered to eliminate hazardous chemicals from your grilling experience so you can get the fire going without choking on fluid.

The Smithey Ironware Co. No. 12 Cast Iron Skillet ($200) is A LOT nicer than the cast iron skillet I got when I went to college. This is one that’s built to last for multiple lifetimes and be passed down through the generations. It is hand-and-machine crafted in Charleston, South Carolina and features a satin-smooth polished finish on the interior of the skillet. Last up is the Japanese Bunka Chef Knife with Saya which is on sale for $274 instead of the usual $324 price. This knife is hand-forged by master Japanese knifemaker Suncraft using SG2 powder steel known for its superior edge retention and truly one of the finest chef’s knives that money can buy. It’s not exactly a cheap purchase but you get more than what you pay for this knife.

Let’s take a look at all of these items again. You can purchase any of them by following the links throughout this article or the ones underneath the image below!
