The superstar quarterback is still mulling his options for the 2022 NFL season.
The gunslinger is coming off of a second straight MVP campaign, where he led the Packers to the top seed in the NFC.Unfortunately, his stay in the postseason didn’t last long as Green Bay was upset by San Francisco in the Divisional round despite having the luxury of home field advantage and a bye week.
Rodgers’s decision will have a huge impact on the future of the Packers’ organization. With him back, they immediately become Super Bowl contenders once again. Without him, they could be stuck with youngster Jordan Love.

The offseason talks surrounding Rodgers have continued since the end of last year. The QB’s secrecy makes it hard to be certain on which way he’s leaning, but his issues with Green Bay management have been evident for a few seasons now.
A decision could be coming soon, though, and the Packers are hoping it means good news for the upcoming campaign.

Green Bay has reportedly made a long-term offer to Rodgers that could possibly make him the NFL’s highest paid player.
Details of this offer haven’t come out but the report shows just how serious the Packers are about keeping their quarterback home.
The price tag shouldn’t surprise anyone as Rodgers has played better than any QB in the league over the last two seasons. At 38-years-old though, agreeing to a long-term deal could get interesting.
It appears that the Packers are willing to take the risk of playing with an aging passer as opposed to having a Tom Brady-like situation like we saw in New England.
The thought among most NFL insiders is that Rodgers will ultimately return to Green Bay, and this deal could be the final piece to the puzzle. The QB is set to make a decision as early as next week.
If he doesn’t commit to the Packers, though, there are plenty of suitors waiting to jump in.

Should Rodgers spurn the new deal with the Packers, there are reportedly three likely landing destinations. Those are Denver, Pittsburgh, and Tennessee.
Should he pick the Steelers, there may be a deal already in place.
The more likely scenarios, however, seem to involve the Titans and Broncos. Green Bay is reportedly avoiding dealing with teams in the NFC.
It will be interesting to see what Rodgers ultimately decides. Wherever he lands, he’ll turn that organization into an instant championship contender in 2022.
