Pistons’ Cade Cunningham Looked Traumatized After Team’s Historic Loss

Pistons star Cade Cunningham did everything he could to stop his team from being remembered as one of the worst teams in NBA history, but unfortunately, he fell short of his goal.

On Tuesday, Cunningham scored 41 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists in the Pistons 27th straight loss of the season vs the Brooklyn Nets.

The Pistons now hold the record for the longest single-season losing streak in NBA history.

After the game, cameras caught a despondent Cunningham sitting on the bench looking traumatized.

Pistons’ head coach Monty Williams praised Cunningham’s leadership during his postgame press conference.

“He showed me even more in the locker room just now. He talked passionately about the things we need to do and everyone needs to be accountable for where we are. No one wants this attached to them.”

“I was brought in here to change this thing, and it’s probably mostly on me than anybody.”

Update: Cunningham

“Don’t jump off the boat. we have to stay together. Right now is the easiest time to be on your own. We need to continue to lean on each other.”

The Pistons next game is against the first place Celtics on Thursday, December 28th.
