Cris Collinwsorth’s rant about Daniel Jones during the Giants’ blowout loss aged very poorly.
On Sunday night, Jones got sacked seven times and was getting consistently crushed in the backfield by the Cowboys defense.
While down 40 points with 5 minutes left in the game, Collinsworth went on a rant on why Jones should stay in the game.
“I don’t care how many times I get hit. I’m your quarterback. I’m going to stand in there… I’m going to keep playing out here. He’ll gain a lot of respect out of this game… It’s a bit of a statement, I think, by Daniel Jones.”- Cris Collinsworth, before Jones gets pummeled”
Immediately after Collinsworth’s rant, Jones got pummeled once again by the Cowboys defense.
