Packers’ backup QB Jordan Love appears to have turned things around at Packers minicamp.
On Tuesday, Love struggled on the field which led to many Packers fans to freak out considering Aaron Rodgers continues to be adamant about wanting to get traded by the team.
Less than 24 hours later and Packers beat reporters were gushing over Love’s latest performance at practice.
On Wednesday, several writers noted how much better Love looked as he took a majority of the snaps.
There’s still a lot of speculation on whether Rodgers will decide to return to the Packers at some point this season. On the latest episode of ESPN’s “Get Up” former NFL GM Mike Tanenbaum said he fully expects the team to start Love this season.
“Jordan Love, the very quarterback they traded up that started this whole mess, will be the opening-day starter for the Green Bay Packers,” said Tannenbaum, f “Aaron Rodgers is still going to be a Green Bay Packer, but he’s not going to show up until probably Week 3 or 4.”
It’ll be interesting what happens if Love continues to impress during camp with the whole Rodgers situation looming in the background.
