The Bruins haven’t needed Tuukka Rask in goal, their offense has been able to control this series.
The Hurricanes were one period away from tying up this series with a two-goal lead, but allowed four goals in under seven minutes to lose 4-3 in Game 4 and now face elimination.
Boston has been really good late in the game with six third period goals in the past two games. The fact the B’s have shown a lead isn’t safe is important in an opportunity to clinch a series win.

The Blues really struggled at the beginning of the restart and into the start of this series. The team we’ve seen since the third period of Game 2 looks more like the team that won the Stanley Cup last year and led the league in points leading up to the league stoppage. St. Louis’ offense is starting to come alive, including Ryan O’Reilly who has five points (two goals, three assists) in his last two games, and Jake Allen has done well with a 1.20 goals against average.
The Canucks had all the momentum by winning five consecutive games going into Game 3 before dropping the last two. Vancouver struggled the last game in the power play by going 0-for-7 after having five goals with a man advantage in the first two games of this series.
It’s starting to look like the veteran experienced squad in St. Louis is starting to get back into rhythm, which could mean trouble for a young Vancouver squad.
