Caitlin Clark’s teammates are beginning to feel the intense media pressure this season.
This year, the Indiana Fever will play 36 of their 40 games on national television thanks to Clark, who is by far the biggest star in the league.
Unfortunately, the Fever have lost three games in a row, and some of the players on the team are finding it hard to deal with the onslaught of media attention.
According to ESPN’s Holly Rowe, the Fever’s Aliyah Boston has deleted her Twitter account because of the intense criticism from fans early in the season.
“They’re definitely feeling this early attention on them. I spoke with Aliyah Boston and she said I had to delete Twitter from my phone, she says the only safe app right now on her phone is TikTok, where it’s friendly and she can scroll fast enough if there’s anything negative…but they’re feeling it.”

It’ll be interesting to see how the Fever players continue to hold up if the continue losing on national television.
WNBA fans rallied around Boston after he latest revelation.
This is absolutely ridiculous.
The amount of vitriol this Fever team has faced because they weren’t meeting whatever unrealistic expectations fans had is uncalled for.
Hoping for peace for Aliyah Boston. Her mental health matters. https://t.co/ZSgOmp7Fu8

Ridiculous Boston is amazing & the hate thrown her way has been disgusting. They’re a young team and have barely practiced together. Chill…I for one can’t wait to take the family to see this fever squad next week!! #wnba https://t.co/epPYVkFmYO
