Beyoncé And Jay Z Are Reportedly Looking At This 56,000 Square Foot LA Mansion On Sale For $200 Million

Beyoncé and Jay Z have a combined net worth that’s estimated to be around $1 billion, so the news that they’re reportedly looking to purchase a mansion worth $200 million shouldn’t come as a complete surprise. The biggest part of this story isn’t that Jay Z and Beyonce are looking to buy a ridiculously expensive home, it’s the mansion itself that they’re looking to purchase.

Previously owned by Aaron Spelling, the ‘Spelling Manor’ was once the most expensive home in America. It was on the market back 2009 for $150 million, and it sold in 2011 for $85 million to Formula 1 heiress Petra Ecclestone. Petra Ecclestone, now Petra Stunt after marrying James Stunt in 2011, is only 28 YEARS OLD.

This means that a fucking 28-year-old has put a 56,000 square foot mansion on the market for $200 million while the majority of millennials are struggling to pay rent while drowning from student loans.

PageSix is reporting that Jay Z and Beyoncé are looking to move to Los Angeles full time, and went to the Spelling Manor for a private showing as prospective buyers. What would Jay Z and Beyoncé be getting if they chose to shell out $200 million for this mansion? 14 bedrooms, 27 bathrooms, a bowling alley, tanning room, barber shop, screening room, doll museum (wtf?!?), gift-wrapping ROOMS…Because everyone knows that uber wealthy people need multiple rooms for wrapping gifts, one just won’t suffice.

Back in 2009, Forbes was able to take a tour of Aaron Spelling’s 56,000 square foot mansion:

$200 million is a HEFTY PRICE TAG even for Los Angeles, but somehow this isn’t even the ‘Most Expensive Home in America‘ right now because there’s another California mansion listed for $250 million.

I don’t mean this as a joke AT ALL. But, frankly, I’m shocked that Donald Trump doesn’t already own this home. The sprawling estate full of gold fixtures and elaborate woodworking is right up Trump’s alley. If the home’s for sale, would we reeeaaaaaaly be all that shocked if Trump purchased it and moved ‘The White House’ to Los Angeles just to piss off Californians? Because at this point I really wouldn’t be surprised at all to see this happen.
