Considering how much you guys have enjoyed seeing Emilia Clarke’s double on Game of Thrones, Rosie Mac, and Margot Robbie’s stunt double Sarah Scotford, I figured you also might be interested in getting to know Lauren Mary Kim.
Kim is someone many of you have probably seen on your TV recently only you didn’t realize it was her.
She’s Élodie Yung’s stunt double on The Defenders and Daredevil so that was her doing a bunch of the sick moves Elektra performs throughout the series.According to Lauren Mary Kim’s website, she was born and raised in Stockton, California and attended California State University in Sacramento. It was there that she danced for the Sacramento Kings as a Royal Court Dancer, and then danced for the Golden State Warriors the following year.
Once she moved Los Angeles she started training in gymnastics and martial arts which evolved into her becoming a stuntwoman. She also works as an actress herself when she isn’t flying around kicking butt.
