Los Angeles Sparks rookie Cameron Brink is one of the most prominent basketball players signed to New Balance alongside six-time All-Star and two-time NBA champion Kawhi Leonard. Despite the age gap and difference in personality, they quickly became fast friends.
The former does a hilarious impression of the latter!
Brink spoke about her first interaction with Leonard during an appearance on Podcast P with Paul George. They were connected through their individual deals with the Boston-based footwear and apparel manufacturer at a commercial shoot.

As the first female basketball player to sign with New Balance, Brink was extremely grateful for how the other NBAers treated her. The funniest part, though, was Leonard.
George agreed with the WNBA’s No. 3 overall draft pick that there is a lot of things that people don’t know about his teammate. He and Leonard have played 207 games together during their careers.
Fans and outsiders might see The Klaw as a quiet, reserved guy who doesn’t say much and keeps to himself. Others look at Leonard as a robot. And there is som validity to those claims!
However, both Brink and George have spent time with him in a much greater capacity than the folks at home on the couch. They find him to be so much funnier than might be expected.

Apparently, so is Brink. She had Leonard in stitches throughout the entire shoot.
All the New Balance guys, our head marketing guy, was like, “we haven’t seen anybody make him laugh more than you.” So I was like, “give me my flowers!”
Kawhi, if you’re watching this, I made you laugh.

Brink can’t remember what it was that made Leonard laugh but she remembers how he laughed. How could you forget?! His unique laugh has gone viral on multiple instances throughout the years.
Brink’s impression of the laugh is tremendous. She went on to call him the “male version of Aubrey Plaza.”
Although that specific reference was lost on George and the gang, Brink’s account of how Kawhi Leonard acted at the commercial shoot hit home. He just wanted to leave.
