New York didn’t quite look like themselves in this series. Especially in Game 1 where Max Scherzer was lit up by the Padres. This organization has some serious questions to answer this offseason. What’s the point of spending all of that money on the roster just to fall short on the opening weekend of the playoffs?We’ll see how it all plays out. Mets fans aren’t too happy with Max Scherzer at all after his abysmal performance in Game 1. Look for New York to have another aggressive offseason with the hopes the front office can generate a more competitive roster. If they can do that, then perhaps this franchise can play better next year.
