The Chicago Sky’s practice facility has come into focus as the team introduced their newest star.
On Wednesday, former LSU standout Angel Reese was introduced to the media at the Sky’s practice facility at the Sachs Recreation Center in Deerfield, Illinois.
It didn’t take long for fans to comment on the team’s tiny practice facility.

Apparently the Sky know about their practice facility issue and plan on moving in 2025 after their current lease is up.
One aspect franchise players have expressed displeasure over in the past is the practice setup.
The Sky currently practice at Sachs Recreation Center, a public gym in Deerfield but play games at Wintrust Arena in the South Loop neighborhood. There’s a strong belief from league professionals that upgrading the facility would positively impact free agency.
Fed-up Sky fans blasted the team on social media over their inadequate practice facility.
Damn @chicagosky y’all need to fix this practice facility situation ASAP. Cos no star is gonna stay on this team with the way it is rn

And when people ask why the Sky can't get FAs and are behind even though they won in 2021 show them how the introductory presser was held in 2024. Then show them the Aces and Storm's facilities https://t.co/YsFscNaF4b
