This doesn’t exactly look like the world’s safest waterpark. The water is barely flowing on the slide. The sides of the slide look like they’re 100 years old. And at the end of this clip when we get a glance of the concrete overlook that the person filming is standing on the concrete looks like you can get Hepatitis just by standing on it.
Suffice it to say that this doesn’t appear to be a place with stringent safety standards. We’re not dealing with an Adventure Island or Schlitterbahn here. That teenager running the waterslide at the top didn’t give one flying fuck when he went the third girl splashing down, face first. Frankly, safety standards aside, I’d love to hit a water park that lets you shoot down face first because that’s not something I’ve ever been able to do.
Did we just watch someone snap a vertebra? Possibly. Is this something we should dwell on? Nah. Let’s just keep rewatching this clip and hope everything turned out okay in the end. I’ve already watched it 6x this morning and I see no end in sight.
