Dominick Reyes proved to be a worthy contender when he took light heavyweight champion Jon Jones to five rounds at UFC 247.

Reyes made the fight extremely competitive but eventually gassed out in the later rounds. Jones went on to win the fight on the scorecards but many felt Reyes had done enough in the first three rounds to win the fight.
