Steven Spielberg announced that the production start date for Indiana Jones 5 will start next spring. Speilberg revealed that he will begin shooting the next Indiana Jones movie in April 2019 in the UK. “It’s always worth the trip when I get to work with this deep bench of talent coming out of the UK,” Speilberg said.
“The actors, and the crew, the chippies, the sparks, the drivers — everybody who has helped me make my movies here, and will continue helping me make my movies here when I come back in April 2019 to make the fifth Indiana Jones movie right here.” Spielberg will return to direct and executive produce Indiana Jones 5.Harrison Ford, who is 75-years-old right now and will be 76 when it starts filming, will return as Dr. Henry Walton “Indiana” Jones. The upcoming Indiana Jones movie has a release date of July 10, 2020, and three days later Harrison Ford turns 78-years-old. Even Star Wars knew that the Harrison Ford as their action star gravy train was over (spoiler alert) and knocked off his character two years ago in The Force Awakens.
