Let’s start off by giving a shoutout to the Heat for their other-worldly collapse on Wednesday night. We were on Miami -3 against the Thunder and things were looking good heading into the fourth quarter. The Heat held a 100-82 lead, the win was in the bag, and then all of a sudden it wasn’t thanks to Oklahoma City outscoring Miami 34-15 in the final frame.
That’s in the past, our bad beat is behind us, time to get back in the winner’s circle again as we head into the weekend.

Friday night’s game is the regular-season finale, if you want to call it that, for both of these teams before they head into the postseason. The 76ers will take on the Celtics in round one while the Rockets will square off against the Thunder.
Seeing as how there’s really not much to play for in this final tune-up before the postseason, it’s easy to shy away from taking the over. Given the fact that Ben Simmons is also out for the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery, the over may not look all that appealing and that’s exactly why it is appealing. Not sure you’re aware of this, but they play mind games in Vegas.
Houston averages the second-most points per game in the league while leading the league in three-pointers made per contest. The Rockets also allow the ninth-most points per game meaning they can fill it up, but they can also allow plenty of points as well which is a great recipe for success when we’re circling the over. Philadelphia is strong defensively but has given up over 124 points in three straight games.
This is going to be a weird game where nobody really knows what to expect to see, so let’s get weird and go with the over.
