It’s been a roller coaster of a time for Russell Westbrook since he signed that massive contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Eventually, he found himself playing for the Los Angeles Lakers until they traded him to the Utah Jazz right before the deadline.
Since then, rumors have been swirling around where Russell Westbrook will play, as it was expected Utah would buy out his contract.
Well, they finally came through and Westbrook is officially on his way back to LA. This time he’ll be joining the Los Angeles Clippers, per Adrian Wojnarowski.

This is a big move for the Clippers though. They’ve needed some help in the backcourt and Russell Westbrook can provide that.
Additionally, with Paul George and Kawhi Leanord leading the charge in the scoring department, Westbrook can play a lesser role. He proved to be rather solid coming off the bench for the Lakers. So maybe we’ll see the same for the Clippers.
In the meantime, there are some mixed reviews from NBA fans about Russell Westbrook heading back to Los Angeles to play for the Clippers.
Just glad he gets to stay in LA!!!

This is the point I was making.
If he mainly focuses on playmaking and passing Clippers might be fine. Just let Kawhi and Paul George do most of the scoring.

We’ll see how it plays out for Russell Westbrook and the Clippers. With the playoffs inching closer, this is LA’s way of remaining competitive in a loaded Western Conference.
