Two weeks ago we got wind that Amazon was going to give Prime members discounts when they shop at Whole Foods. On Wednesday, Amazon officially rolled out their new discount offerings, but only in one state. Initially, the new perks are only available at stores in Florida, but Amazon plans to offer the sale prices to all 460+ Whole Foods locations across the country this summer.
Amazon will offer Prime subscribers an additional 10% discount on “thousands of already discounted items in each store.” Amazon will also give deep discounts on select items to Prime members. The first special sale items have been released, they include $2 off strawberries and $10 off wild-caught halibut steak. There are discounts on KIND grain clusters, seltzer water, coffee, and magic mushroom powder. Whole Foods will have store sales with yellow signs and special Prime member sales with blue signs.
To get the deals you will need to download the Whole Foods app, which you can do so here. When you go to pay at the register, you’ll open your Whole Foods app and there is a Prime Code that the cashier will scan to give you the special sale prices.
