A few weeks ago, veteran NFL offensive lineman Justin Pugh was watching from home on NFL Sundays. Now, he’s starting for the New York Giants.
And, on Sunday Night Football, where the Giants were taking on the Buffalo Bills, he had one of the funniest introductions in history when it came his turn on the introduction of the Giants offense.

“Justin Pugh, straight off the couch.”
And, it’s true. After a season-ending injury in Arizona last season, the former New York Giants first round pick back in 2013 went unsigned this offseason as he rehabbed. But, with the Giants offensive line being significantly beat up and those that are healthy being as bad as any offensive line in league history, New York head coach Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen became desperate and signed Pugh to the practice squad earlier this month.
With the 1-4 Giants season likely being a lost year, Justin Pugh’s introduction might be one of the highlights.
