If you hadn’t already heard the news, longtime car company Acura unveiled its newest design for their NSX model way back when, even holding an auction this past January for one lucky stiff to own the very first one—which ended up being Rick Hendrick of NASCAR fame, who threw down $1.2 million for it.
25 years after first getting introduced, the NSX has gotten a major facelift—and it’s just about the sexiest thing with four wheels that I’ve laid my eyes on in a long time.
Here’s what the car site Autoblog had to say about the car:
It is equipped with carbon-ceramic brake rotors, leather and Alcantara trim, and uses carbon fiber for the engine cover, roof, and rear spoiler. Top that off with upgraded wheels, and it has every available option. The NSX is powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 that teams with three electric motors for a system output of 573 hp and 476 pound-feet of torque. It has a nine-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive.
Retailing for anywhere between $156,000 – $205,000, depending on options, the 2017 NSX makes it totally cool to brag about driving an Acura—just as long as it’s not the beater your grandpa gave you with the torn up leather seats and cassette player in it.
