13 ‘Things We Want’ This Week: Sunglasses, Dress Shirts, Flip-Flops, Swim Trunks, And More!

Bros, in this week’s ‘Things We Want’ I tried to throw a total cross-section of the coolest gear and gadgets I came across in my travels across the web. This week we’ve got a badass credit card knife from Böker, some unique fishing shirts I stumbled across earlier this week, some SICK spikeless golf shoes from Puma Golf, and a whole lot more!

As I attempt to do each week when putting together wish list items for bros, this edition of the ‘Things We Want — A Gear Guide For Men’ covers the entire spectrum of gear for bros who like to get out into the world, get their boots a little dirty, and see what’s happening down by the water.

Also, if you know of a product that you think should be featured in my weekly Gear Guide then feel free to hit me up via email at Cass @ Brobible dot com. And for those of you looking to have us test out products to be featured here you can contact me via that email for our mailing address.

State & Liberty: Providing Both Athletes And Bros With The Fit/Feel They Deserve In A Dress Shirt

So I was recently turned onto State & Liberty by an old colleague and this is one of those brands that I instantly fell in love with so much I was angry that I hadn’t learned about them sooner. The hype surrounding State & Liberty is REAL, with a TON of NYC pro athletes wearing these shirts when they’re not representing the Mets, Rangers, Islanders, and Devils.

Here are some names of athletes already wearing State & Liberty, just to name a few:

Mets — David Wright, Noah Syndergaard, Jacob Degrom, Kevin Plawecki, Matt Reynolds
Rangers — Kevin Hayes, Derek Stepan, Carl Hagelin (obviously not with the Rangers anymore), Eric Staal, Chris Krieder, Jayson Megna
Islanders — Matt Martin, Cal Clutterbuck, Johnny Boychuck, Anders Lee, Thomas Hickey, Steve Bernier, Brock Nelson
Devils — Cory Schnieder, Travis Zajac, John Moore, Jon Merrill

So what is State & Liberty all about? Their mission is to provide bros and athletes with the look, fit, and feel that they deserve in a dress shirt, and after picking up my first State & Liberty dress shirt I can say with 100% confidence that they’ve succeeded in this mission.

True Athletic Fit — Designed for the “V” body type. More room in the upper body with a slim waist. If your belly is bigger than your chest, these dress shirts are not for you.
Athletic Fabric — Stretchy, moisture wicking, lightweight and infused with anti-odor treatment.
Low Maintenance — Wrinkle free and machine washable. Throw your iron out and break up with your dry cleaner.
Office Ready — We promise you wont find stiffer cuffs and collars on the market.

So if you bros are ready to pick up the best dress shirt you’ve ever owned then click on over to the State & Liberty shop by following that ‘buy it here’ button below. Their dress shirts retail for around $90, but they also pump out t-shirts, pocket squares, and a whole lot more. So follow that link below!

EZ Drinking Beer Holster — A Six-Pack Beer Belt, The Perfect Beach Accessory

Bros, at just $9.99 you have no excuse for not owning this bad boy. If I’m being honest with you I don’t own one either but I’m ordering one myself, because I was at the beach recently and a friend of mine had one. We sat in the water (Siesta Key Beach) for like an hour without having to walk back to the sand to get more beer. It was incredible. I need this in my life as much as you do, and it costs less than ten bucks which is a total steal. I’d probably pay up to $40 for this, they must not know what they have on their hands.

Teva Men’s Deckers Flip-Flop

Don’t sleep on Teva men’s sandals, they get a wildly unfair wrap for being ‘dad sandals’ due to their river rafting line of sandals, but the men’s flip flops from Teva are as legit as any you’ll find. Firstly, Tevas are some of the most affordable flip flops on the market. Secondly, the Men’s Deckers from Teva are about as comfortable of a sandal as you’ll find anywhere in the world. And lastly, the Men’s Deckers Flip-Flop from Teva come in a wide variety of colors and styles, so at a $11 price point you can afford to pick up a handful of pairs to match your boardshorts and trunks (if that’s something you’re into).
