Fans React To News That Davante Adams Is Being Sued By The Photographer He Shoved

The photographer that Las Vegas Raiders star Davante Adams shoved after a Week 5 Monday Night Football game has filed a lawsuit against the wide receiver.

The 30-year-old wideout apologized for shoving the photographer immediately after the game and later tweeted another apology (a tweet he has since deleted).

Following the incident, the man, who at first asked to remain anonymous, but has now been identified as Park Zebley, went to a hospital complaining of whiplash, a headache and possible minor concussion.

The photographer, reportedly a college student who was at his first day on the job, almost immediately filed a police report claiming he was “injured” and was a “victim of an assault.”

Shortly thereafter, Davante Adams was officially charged with a misdemeanor assault for an “intentional overt act to inflict bodily injury…causing a possible concussion.”

The charge filed against Adams carries a fine of $250 to $1,000 and/or up to 180 days in jail.

In addition to that, The Athletic reported on Thursday that the photographer has now filed a lawsuit against Davante Adams.

He is also suing the Chiefs, the Raiders, the Jackson Sports Complex Authority and Landmark Event Staffing Services.

“I mean, I wouldn’t look at the KC incident as something that – I don’t want to say I didn’t learn from it because that makes it sound like I’m not remorseful and stuff like that — but it was just an instance,” Adams said on Thursday, prior to the lawsuit being filed. “It’s not something that I needed that to happen for me to know that was not the right thing to do. So, it was just something that happened.”

So far, over seven months later, the NFL has yet to impose any sort of fine or suspension on Adams for his actions that occurred in Week 5 of the 2022 season.

News of the photographer’s lawsuit against Adams is not sitting well with many football fans.

“‘Feared for his life’ is one helluva way of saying I’m chasing a bag,” another fan commented.

“Cash grab 101,” someone else wrote.
