Comedian Preacher Lawson has been killing it on America’s Got Talent this season. I typically try and stay away from AGT, but this dude’s funny AF. When I saw that this was the #2 trending video on YouTube this morning, I was skeptical that a clip about ‘catfishing’ could actually be funny…I was wrong.
It starts off a little slow, but he nails the line about not drinking and how it’s creepy as hell to order booze for girls on first dates when he isn’t drinking himself, and the bit only gets better from there.
It’s weird. I find myself hating on America’s Got Talent every season. I do think the show is mostly garbage. The hosts are obnoxious and it’s all formulaic. If you sit down and try to watch any of the early season episodes there’s an abundance of weird and mediocre talent. But once the show gets midway through the season the show actually becomes watchable.They should skip those early episodes and jump straight to the contestants that are actually worth a shit.
