The 10 Highest-Paying Jobs For Millennials

If you’re a millennial looking to get paid (Who isn’t?), how does making $118,050 in one of your first real jobs sound? What appears as a fairy tale is the real deal. There are several careers where you can bank six-figures as a millennial without earning a doctorate, in fact, al of the jobs in this list require a bachelor’s degree or less.

The U.S. News & World Report compiled a list of the 10 highest-paying jobs for millennials, which are now the largest segment of the U.S. workforce.

U.S. News & World Report also surveyed more than 1,000 Americans aged 20 to 34 to find out what the most important job factors are for millennials. The survey asked the participants to rank nine job traits. The most important job factor was salary, followed by work-life balance at a close second, and stress level the third most important aspect. The survey found that millennials want careers that offer flexibility, learning opportunities, teamwork, and jobs that have a purpose and contribute to the greater good.

For their methodology of finding the highest-paying jobs for millennials, the U.S. News & World Report utilized their recent job factor survey as well as data including future job prospects, unemployment rates, upward mobility, percentage of people ages 20 through 34 who work in the field, 2015 statistics from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the U.S. News Best Jobs rankings. All of the jobs included in the ranking require a bachelor’s degree or less.
