Ric Flair engaged in plenty of feuds over the course of his professional wrestling career, but over the past couple of months, he’s found himself beefing with a fairly unexpected foe in the form of Paul Finebaum. Now, The Nature Boy has once again set his sights on the SEC Network personality.

The ill will in question can be traced back to the relationship Ric Flair has with Jim Harbaugh, as the two of them have been friends for 35 years since initially linking up when the latter was playing quarterback for the Chicago Bears.

It’s safe to say Paul Finebaum has not historically been Harbaugh’s biggest fan based on his coverage of the man who led the Michigan Wolverines to a national championship earlier this month.

The longtime SEC Network host started drinking the Haterade as soon as Harbaugh arrived in Ann Arbor, and while he

, it doesn’t seem like his change of heart was enough to get Flair off of his back.

The two men found themselves engaging in a bit of a back-and-forth in November in the wake of the sign-stealing scandal that rocked the college football world, and on Monday night, Flair decided to stir the pot yet again

, saying:

I Am So Elated To Know @CoachJim4UM, Who May Be The Best Coach In Football Ever Aside From His Brother John. So Proud To Know You Both!

Apparently, Paul@finebaum As You So Ignorantly Reported That He Wouldn’t Be Welcome In The @NFL Because Of Reoccurring NCAA Accusations. Now, We Have A National Title, He’s Being Interviewed By 5 Teams. He’s The Man!

Paul Finebaum, I’m So Embarrassed About How You Make A Living Critiquing People. So Embarrassed For You And The SEC Network! Get A Life & Get Real!

I’m having a hard time finding the report Flair references about Finebaum asserting NFL teams would steer clear of Harbaugh due to his issues with the NCAA. In fact, in October, he said the coach

to avoid having to deal with the headaches that come with attracting the ire of the governing body.

As things currently stand, it does appear Harbaugh is on the verge of leaving Michigan in favor of the Los Angeles Chargers, so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if that leads to Flair eventually finding a new foe in the form of an NFL analyst.
