On Tuesday, Spears released a video on her Instagram page firing back at people who said she deserved to be slapped during the incident. In her video message, Spears says she’s gotten a public apology from Wemby but is demanding a public apology for everything that she’s been through.
“I didn’t appreciate the people saying that I deserve to be hit because no woman ever deserves to be hit, I simply tapped him on the back and was backhanded, hit in my face, hit the floor and my best friend picked me up and held me. I did get an apology at my table 30 minutes later, but I have yet to receive a public apology.”

On Monday, Wembanyama was shut down for the remainder of the Las Vegas Summer League and he admitted that he was done doing media for a bit.
“In the past month, I think basketball wasn’t even 50% of my schedule. I can’t stand it. I know it’s a special moment in my life, but I’m glad it’s over … I just wanna hoop,”
