Top College Basketball Transfer Rumored To Have Turned Down $750K NIL Offer From Kansas

AJ Storr celebrates after making a three-point shot.

AJ Storr is on the transfer market after leading the Wisconsin basketball team in scoring as a sophomore. The guard averaged just under 17 points during his first season on campus, and he’s now testing the market.

Based on a recent rumor, he thinks very highly of himself in terms of the value he’ll bring to his next squad – and his NIL demands reflect that!

Storr is said to have turned down a massive six-figure offer from one of college basketball’s blue bloods.

Chas Wolfe, the operator of a prep scouting service, claims that the highly sought after guard has been in talks with Kansas this offseason, asking for a $1M deal in order to sign with Bill Self’s program.

Wolfe also suggests that Storr walked when the Jayhawks came back at $750K.

That’s that!

If true, it would eliminate at least one contender from AJ Storr’s list of transfer options, though he might still have the pick of the litter in terms of a future destination.

Potential suitors include teams like Kentucky, Texas, Illinois, and Oregon.

Each of those schools made the NCAA Tournament this past season, and they expect to remain in the conversation moving forward.

As for the transfer process, it’s nothing new to Storr. The next program will be his third in as many years as he began his college career at St. John’s.

Going further, it will be his seventh squad in seven seasons dating back to his freshman year in high school.

Wherever his next landing spot, Storr expects to be paid! We’ll see if someone agrees to his terms.

And hey, if nobody decides to match those high demands, the guard could always enter the NBA Draft where he projects as a second-round pick. Maybe that provides some leverage in these negotiations.

It’s a new era of college sports. AJ Storr is looking to take advantage.
