Former NFL wide receiver Brandon Marshall is ready to start a new career.
Marshall. who played 13 seasons in the league and made six Pro Bowls, announced on Tuesday that he was going to begin his professional boxing career as a heavyweight and is calling out some of the biggest names in boxing.
“I’m about to do the unthinkable.
Thirteen years, NFL. Thirty-five, phenomenal shape. Just went 24 rounds. I’m about to do the unthinkable. Heavyweight champion of the world. Lotta people that try fail. I promise you. Joshua, Wilder, Ortiz, Fury. All you boys, I can get it. I’m telling you. You’re not that tough, not that strong. Where I come from, and what I’ve been through in my life, I’m built for this. Marshall might want to stick to football and try to get a spot in the XFL if he wants to continue playing sports.
