Every decade or so there comes a once-in-a-generation talent–LeBron for basketball, Guy Fieri for the culinary arts, Chad Kroeger for music, etc. Flag football has just been blessed with that talent in Fernanda Marquez. Full disclosure: I know absolutely nothing about Fernanda Marquez other than the fact that she is a mix between Barry Sanders and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
I came up empty-handed with my extensive investigative research (just a simple Google search) and there is no indication that the Browns have started recruiting her.But, Marquez does have 324,000 Instagram followers (324,001 now *wink wink*) and was brought into the national spotlight when she was featured on Sports Center for the shake and bake you’ll see below.
With just a cursory glance of her Instagram page, you’ll quickly learn that Marquez isn’t a one hit wonder. She’s got several tools in her arsenal. Some of which I’ve posted below.
