Shaquille O’Neal obviously has a lot of money. Between his long NBA career, his broadcasting work, his endorsement deals, and other various business ventures, Shaq is reportedly worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $400 million. It’s a very good neighborhood.
Speaking of Shaq, very good neighborhoods, and gobs of money, The Big Aristotle just lowered the price of the ridiculous mansion he is trying to sell just outside of Orlando by a whopping $6 million.
Now the estate O’Neal reportedly purchased in 1993 for $3.95 million can be all yours for just $21,990,000. What a deal!
Out of all the celebrity estates we’ve looked at over the past few years, Shaq’s place might be the most insane home we’ve seen yet.
The 31,000-square-foot home has 12 bedrooms, 11 full bathrooms, four half-baths, a 6,000-saure-foot indoor basketball court, a 17+ car “showroom-style” garage, and a 95-foot-long swimming pool.
The basketball court reminded me of something that apparently I had blocked out of my mind. Anyone else here remember Shaq playing on the Cavs alongside LeBron James, and even making it to the playoffs together? Because I sure didn’t.
Anyway, that’s just the beginning. Check out some of the other amazing amenities…
• Three acres of land located in the gated golf community of Isleworth
• 700-feet of prime lake frontage
• A private pier on Lake Butler
• Two covered boat slips
• Smart-home Crestron technology
• A chef’s kitchen with professional appliances
• A formal dining room with seating for 16
• Three fireplaces
• A game room
• A cigar bar with walk-in humidor and wine storage
• A soundproof home theater
• An aquarium-style room with a saltwater triangular fish tank
• A waterfall
• A spa
• A tiki-style cabana
Like I said, insane.
And, according to Realtor.com’s payment calculator, you can now own it for just $112,161 a month in mortgage payments (with a $4,398,000 down payment, of course).
