Former ESPN and current Fox 5 reporter Britt McHenry claims to have evidence of former MLB pitcher Trevor Bauer being a sexual abuser.
While the 33-year-old Bauer signed a 3-year, $102 million deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2021, he was cut by the team in January 2023 following allegations of sexual assault.
Bauer has ultimately been accused of sexual assault by three different women — he had denied all of the allegations made against him — and now, McHery is claiming that she has proof of at least one more.
“On Trevor Bauer. I know and have evidence of another woman who privately DM’ed me what she endured. She spoke directly to MLB front offices. He is not ‘innocent.’ He will not play in the MLB again. Stop trying to champion a sexual abuser,” McHenry said in a Twitter thread on Sunday, March 24.
“Men siding with a dude who won’t play in the MLB again. Why do you think ANY team hasn’t signed him? What possibly could the league offices know? Hmmm.. I’m not outing someone’s experience:. But I have the source and documentation. We’ll leave at that.”

Earlier in March, Bauer pitched in six games for the Diablos Rojos del México, leading to a Spring Training matchup against the New York Yankees, in which he tossed three shutout innings.
Bauer and his first accuser — an unnamed San Diego woman who came forward with her allegations in the Spring of 2021 — settled their civil lawsuits without either side exchanging any money or admitting any wrongdoing.
The woman had accused him of sexually assaulting her during two encounters in the spring of 2021. Bauer then sued the woman for defamation in April 2022, which prompted her to countersue him for sexual battery four months later.
As for the criminal suit stemming from the San Diego woman’s allegations, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office ultimately decided not to file charges against Bauer due to a lack of evidence.
