ESPN Broadcaster Reveals Three Voiceover Scripts For New ‘College Football 25’ Video Game

College Football 25 Voiceovers

It is confirmed that EA Sports is going to release the College Football 25 video game at some point this summer. An exact date is unclear, but the long-awaited return is near after an 11-year hiatus.

There is a lot of excitement around the game, obviously. However, there are also a lot of nerves.

This game is something that fans have dreamed about since Denard Robinson was on the cover back in July 2013.

They will be sorely disappointed if it is not perfect. And EA Sports knows that.

A developer within the company recently said that he cannot wait for gamers to see that College Football 25 is not the same game as the Madden franchise. A trailer for the game provided a very minimal peek at how the game is going to look.

As for the audio, it is confirmed that multiple ESPN broadcast announcers will be included. There will be more than one booth, which was not the case more than a decade ago!

Kevin Connors is one of the voices for the game and recently wrapped his recordings.

Whether intentional or not, a photo of his voiceover setup revealed some of the script!

Three games were featured on his Excel document. One of them is not like the others.

Ohio State / Illinois

Fellas… It’s ONE thing to have a rivalry game … but when you have TWO long-time foes battling for a PRIZE like the ILLIBUCK Trophy – you KNOW emotions tend to run high.

Army / Navy

Guys… there are RIVALRIES and then there is undeniably the most MEANINGFUL rivalry in sports. And the battle for the chance to SING second in today’s Army-Navy game has been a sight to behold.

Alabama / Auburn

Guys… from Tuscaloosa to The Plains – there are some ORNERY folks and some EMOTIONAL fan bases enjoying a SODA pop and a LOTTA trash talk in this battle between the TIDE and WAR Eagle.

Although Connors’ post was a very small glimpse at just three games, it is a great sign. Even if the scripts are a little bit corny (and Auburn does not go by War Eagle), EA Sports is clearly going above and beyond to ensure that every unique matchup is tailored in its own individual way. That will make a big difference.

Fans who have played NCAA 14 for 10+ years now have memorized every intro and commentary. College Football 25 is going to be fresh, different and much more expansive!
