The business of Power Slap is booming, according to Dana White.
Thirteen months ago, White launched Power Slap, and he’s pleased with how big the sport has grown.
Earlier this week, White appeared on the “The Pete and Sebastian Show” and revealed that Power Slap currently has a $750 million valuation.
“So I said, We all got to pony up a million bucks each and get this thing started. That was 13 months ago. It’s a $750 million business, so yeah. I even got power slap cups.”
White went on to boast about Power Slap’s social media numbers, which he claims are bigger than those of the NHL, PGA, and NASCAR.
“I do a reality show and I throw it up on social media. When I say that this is the biggest thing on social media. We started this 13 months ago. This thing has 13 million followers on social media. I’ve been on social media since like I was one of the first f—ing Twitter guys, right?
“I have 20 million followers. This thing already has 13. It’s bigger than the NHL. It’s bigger than the PGA, NASCAR, We’re crushing. We’re about to pass Major League Baseball as far as numbers go, Right?”
It is worth noting that Power Slap recently signed a deal to hold an event in Saudi Arabia during Riyadh season which should also bring in a ton of money.
