‘College Football 25’ Will Likely Feature Edible Pop-Tart Mascot Based On Newest Update

It’s hard not to be excited for College Football 25 based on all of the information that has surfaced so far, and EA Sports has given fans another reason to be amped about the upcoming release thanks to the newest update concerning bowl games.

The fact that it’s been more than a decade since EA Sports released the final installment of the NCAA Football franchise means expectations for the reboot dubbed College Football 25 are understandably pretty high, and the publisher has done a pretty solid job keeping the hype train fueled in the leadup to the release of the video game.

More than 10,000 players have already taken advantage of the NIL deal that comes with opting into the game, which will feature every single FBS program, a stacked lineup of media personalities who’ve put in a ton of work to capture the essence of an authentic broadcast, and (at least according to one developer) plenty of features that will differentiate from the stagnant Madden franchise.

Of course, there’s only so much EA Sports can do to check every single box. Some college football awards will be absent from the game (with the notable exception of the Heisman Trophy), and while Arch Manning is the most notable name to announce he’s opted out, there were likely be a handful of other players who decline to participate when everything is said and done.

According to Chris Vannini of The Athletic, anyone who’s hoping to see the entire slate of bowl games featured in College Football 25 will see that dream come true, as he confirmed every single postseason contest will be included in the title as various bowls began to announce their partnerships this week.

As of this writing, the Pop-Tarts Bowl has not officially confirmed that its infamous “edible” mascot will be prominently featured, and the Cheez-It Bowl has also not formally announced there will be a colorful branded hot tub sitting next to one of the end zones in the game.

However, I’m going to assume that will be the case until proven otherwise.
