Mardi Gras in in full swing in New Orleans with Fat Tuesday falling on February 13th this year, but there have been parades marching every weekend since January.
Monday marked the kick off of Mardi Gras week in The Big Easy and nobody was enjoying themselves more than New Orleans Saints backup QB and former Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston at the Lundi Gras celebration. NOLA’s local WDSU News found Jameis celebrating on the street and the man was grinning ear from ear, on top of the world.
Margaret Orr asked Jameis ‘do you love to dance’ and his response was simple: ‘I love to have fun.’

The full interview can be seen on YouTube where Jameis Winston talks about his love of Mardi Gras, judging his son based on effort and not results, and of course, how much the dude loves to have fun.
The happiest man in the game?
Jameis Winston has been everywhere the past few days. He made the rounds at Barstool Sports for sit-downs with the Pardon My Take duo and for a Sundae Conversation with Caleb Pressley, the latter of which was a classic ‘Jameis being Jameis’ segment where he got to role play and give his thoughts on Taylor Swift + Travis Kelce and who he’d want his teammates dating.
