Deion Sanders’ favorite time of year is here – it’s Transfer Portal Season! The Colorado head coach has made a living in the portal since arriving in Boulder, and this offseason will be no different.
Coach Prime teased an incoming haul of biblical proportions with the transfer window opening up on Tuesday.
And it seems his sons are doing all they can to help out, too!“That PORTAL open like the Red Sea!” Sanders wrote on X.

While storylines surrounding potential transfers have been prevalent throughout the spring, the portal officially opened back up on Tuesday, meaning coaches and programs can begin communication with interested prospects.
We saw the head coach celebrate similarly on December’s opening day.
Colorado capitalized on that early window, bringing in 25 new college players in a sixth-ranked transfer class.
Now, they’ll hope to add to it in the spring.
The roster has already seen a fair share of defections, as have many other notable programs around college football.
Players who have transferred from Colorado today so far:
• Tarvarish Dawson, Jr., WR
• Isaiah Jatta, Sr., OL
• Savion Washington, Sr., OL
• Myles Slusher, Sr., Jr.
• Chazz Wallace, Sr., DL
• David Conner, R-Fr., OL pic.twitter.com/oDRar6EUlK— NCAA Transfer Portal (@RivalsPortal)
The Buffs plan to make up for it with a few additions in the coming weeks, and they’re wasting no time in swinging for the fences!
Deion Sanders has reportedly been in touch with Ohio State RB Dallan Hayden, Penn State WR KeAndre Lambert-Smith, former Michigan LB Nikhai Green-Hill, and Arkansas OT Andrew Chamblee.
Chamblee, one of the most coveted linemen in the portal, plans to attend the Colorado spring game later this month.
More are sure to join, at least if Shedeur and Shilo Sanders have any say.
Deion Sanders’ sons are recruiting on social media.
Each posted a message to their respective online outlets, both of which begged for transfer help in Boulder.
Portal opens soon let’s get busy

“Portal opens soon, let’s get busy,” starting QB Shedeur Sanders teased Tuesday morning. While the Buffs have done what they can to solidify the offensive roster on the recruiting trail, he’s clearly in search of more playmakers.
His brother, Shilo, took things a step further, telling interested players to DM him directly on Instagram.

One take offense, the other take defense. Not a bad attack plan!
We’ll see if those recruiting efforts lead to transfer portal success.
