Former Pro Bowler wide receiver Steve Smith, now an analyst, didn’t hold back on Denver Broncos wideout Jerry Jeudy during a segment on NFL Network during the Broncos-Chiefs pregame.
During his podcast, Smith labeled Jeudy as a JAG, or “just a guy,” which caused Jeudy to react when he saw him.
Jeudy allegedly responded by using a slur towards Smith and telling him, “I don’t mess with you.”, according to Smith. The exchange took place on the field at Arrowhead Stadium just moments before the game starting.
Smith didn’t hold back, passionately expressing his opinion on Jeudy’s ability to handle criticism. He warned potential GMs against trading for Jeudy, stating, “Don’t trade for Jerry Jeudy, because he’s unable to handle constructive criticism from people, who watch specifically, can he be a wide receiver? He can be a wide receiver, he’s a tier three.”
But it didn’t end there, as Jeudy then interpreted Smith during the next segment by making loud noises and gestures to annoy him.
Oh boy, things are escalating over there.#Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy came over to where Steve Smith was standing while he was talking and started shouting and making noises

It seemed like Steve Smith really got in his head pre-game.

The Broncos will reportedly trade Jeudy prior to the trade deadline, although this type of behavior won’t help him.
